Master Ky-Tu Dang at Quest Penistone
On Sunday 16th of December, and marking an early start to Quest Taekwondo's 25th Year Celebrations, Master Ky Tu Dang presented a day of seminars at the Quest Penistone venue. This was preceded on Saturday by a surprise visit especially for the Penistone Monstars. Master Ky-Tu Dang is a highly respected and internationally recognised Taekwondo and Poomsae expert. He is an 8th Dan and has won many titles, including the 2007 World Championships in Korea.
The Monstars were suitably impressed by Master Ky-Tu Dang's impressive flexibility, speed, and taekwondo skills, and his sense of humour whilst delivering a highly informative seminar meant that the youngest Quest members had a very enjoyable day.
The official seminar day itself proved to be a rare opportunity for a whole day of taekwondo training for both students and instructors from several different clubs from across the UK. This training was with one of Taekwondo's great personalities and poomsae champions, and anyone who attended will tell you it was an enjoyable, educational and highly entertaining day.
2013 will see Quest seminars from Ji-Pyo Lim, Martin Stamper, Sarah Stevenson and Steve Jennings.
